Mako Industries Awarded Contract for Advanced Power Generation Systems

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

HOUSTON, Texas — September 9, 2026 — Mako Industries has been awarded a significant contract to support the manufacture and integration of advanced power generation systems for a leading energy technology company.

The project will include fabrication, electrical and instrumentation integration, mechanical assembly, controls, testing, and overall project execution at Mako’s Houston-area manufacturing facilities.
The systems are designed to support distributed power applications, providing reliable, scalable energy solutions for industrial, commercial, and critical infrastructure markets. These technologies are becoming increasingly important as large power consumers seek greater energy resilience, faster deployment, and alternatives to traditional grid-dependent power generation.

“This award represents an important step forward for Mako and reinforces our strategy of expanding into complex, high-value manufacturing and energy infrastructure projects,” said Mark Provine, CEO of Mako Industries. “We see significant opportunity in the growing demand for reliable and scalable power solutions, and this project demonstrates the value of the capabilities we have built across engineering, fabrication, electrical integration, controls, and project execution.”

“This project aligns very well with the direction of Mako’s continued growth,” said Steve Lykins, President of Mako Industries. “We have made significant investments in our people, manufacturing capabilities, and project execution systems, and this award reflects the confidence our customers have in our ability to execute complex, highly engineered projects.”

Work on the project is beginning immediately and will progress through engineering, procurement, fabrication, assembly, integration, and testing in support of the customer’s broader deployment program.
