Hydraulic Flushing & Testing

Industrial Services

Consistent hydraulic cleaning is a very important part of routine maintenance and is recommended as best practices when performing hydraulic repairs and installations.

Our equipment available for rent and services are:

  • Flushing units up to 42 GPM
  • Test pumps rated to 30,000 PSI
  • Particle counters for oil and water-based media
  • Chart recorders up to 100,000 PSI
  • Test bay with Lift Blast Shields

One of our units is shown below are of the LG5000, DVZ Hydraulics (Patent Pending) 3-in-1 HPU. This high-quality multi-functioning HPU was specifically designed with cost efficiency in mind: to be the only piece of equipment needed for your hydraulic fluid flushing and pressure testing needs.

3-in-1 HPU Capabilities

  • Up to 42 GPM
  • 30,000 PSI
  • Hydraulic fluid (oil) side with low and high pressure pumps
  • Hydro (water) side with low and high pressure pumps
  • Low pressure pumps: Air to liquid ratio 1:66 (max outlet 8,700 psi @ 145 psi air / PRV Set @ 6,000 psi)
  • High pressure pumps: Air to liquid ratio 2:150 (Max Outlet 43,500 psi @ 145 psi air / PRV Set @ 22,500 psi)
  • All 4 pumps have separate relief valves that can be set to customer preference
  • All 4 pumps are separately air regulated
    • Giving our customers the option to simultaneously test multiple pieces of equipment utilizing all 4 pumps to different pressures.
  • Hydraulic fluid (oil) side has a 3 stage top of the line filtration system
  • Diaphragm pump: 1:1 ratio (maximum flow: 14.8 GPM)
    • Spin-on filter: 3 micron
    • Spin-on filter: 1 micron
    • Sock filter: ½ micron
  • After achieving the required cleanliness, use the clean fluid for testing/functioning valves while simultaneously flushing other fluid
  • Sock filter add-on: ½ micron (stand-alone) for optional fluid return, to ensure return fluid cleanliness. Patent Pending, No: 62/556,803

Plug-n-Play options for the LG5000 HPU

  • SC1000 – if accumulation is a necessity the SC1000 sits perfectly beside and connects directly into the LG5000. It comprises of 2 LP accumulators
  • BP1000 – if a fluid reservoir is needed the BP1000 will sit directly behind and can be connected to the LG5000. It comprises of a 75 gal fluid containment tote for your flushing and or pressure testing needs

Mako technicians are highly trained and available for any onshore and offshore fluid flushing and pressure testing needs you may have. Our team of highly skilled technicians adheres to strict safety procedures while working safely and efficiently during or after equipment outages, startups, system repairs or maintenance.
